なんちゃってタブブラウザ
MSNサーチツールバーをインストールするとIEが「なんちゃってタブブラウザ」になります。まぁ、努力は認めますがただでさえ狭いブラウズ領域が狭くなるのでどんなもんかと。
iTunes 4.9/Podcasting
AppleはPodcastを「ラジオ」と言い切っていますね。一般的にはわかりやすいのかな。Podcasterにすればもう少し高尚なイメージを持っている様な気がするけど、ま、いいか。iTunes 4.9でPodcastingを取り入れたりiTMSで検索/DownLoadしやすくなったのは便利。Top 10 DownLoadとか、欲しかった。便利。iPodへも一発で転送できるし、何よりiTMS上で探しやすい。iTunes上のUIはまだまだ駄目ですが今後に期待ですね。Audible、止めちゃおうかな。迷っちゃうな。しかしOSの進化は楽しいね。Applicationレベルよりダイナミックだし、使いやすいケースが多い。
■追記
iPodをupdateしたら、Musicの中にPodcastsメニューが作られていた。早速ABC News ShuffleをDownloadして聞いたらSteve Jobsのインタビューだった。こういうNews系のSubscriptionがキチンと出てくるならすばらしい。そしたらAudible止めちゃう。だって、めんどくせーもん。

Windows デスクトップ サーチ、想像以上にいいですね。使いやすいし速い。Outlookにたまりにたまったe-mail archiveまでindexを作ってくれるので、整理の悪い私には手放せない位便利です。時間はかかりますが、Previewは便利。MacOS XのSpotLightと同じ位良いかも。驚き。こうやってOSレベルからOfficeまで抑えられるとさすがに怖いというか心配になりますが。

Coldplayは知っていたしいい曲書くなーと思っていた。で、Code46を観て、ぶっ飛んですげーファンになった。 Speed Of Soundは速攻でiTMSでDownLoadしてもう20回以上聴いてる。ラジオも合わせれば40回以上は聴いてる事になるかな。
そんなアッシでもSpeed Of SounのPV観てまたまたぶっ飛んだ。これ、すげーかっこいー！やられた。こういう表現、あったんだー。やばいね、こいつら。格好良すぎ。

アドリアーノは怖いですねー。対戦したくない。ドイツのサッカーもずいぶん変わったもんです。若返ったし、コンパクトになった気がする。優勝はブラジルかな。いつもそうですが、途中の疲れた様なやる気のなさそうなサッカーは健在（笑） でも、勝っちゃうんだよね。凄いね。決勝のもう1チームはどちらでも面白そう。楽しみ。

これは良い！好き！また暗い貧乏の悲しい話と思いきや、閉鎖的な部分は少なくて前向きな映画作りで安心して観れた。万人にお勧めできます。家族で観てもいいし。Emily Mortimerは微妙な役どころをうまくこなしていた。もう少しこの女優さんの作品を観てみようかと。
Gerard Butler目当てのご婦人方が多かった。ブロマイド？も売ってて、結構群がってた。オレよく知らないのよね、この人。カッコいいとは思うけど、メルギブソンとカブルっす。ま、似たような話の映画は他にもあるけど、子供も含めてアザトクなくていいと思います。はい。映画館でなくても伝わると思います。邦題は「Dear フランキー 」。

予告は良さそうだったんだけど、どうも入り込めなくて苦しい。オムニバスは難しいのよ。監督が同じでテーマが同じでも、パズルのひとつが白々しいと他にどんなに優れた演技があってもかすんでしまう。アッサリぶち壊してしまう。観ていて、自分がもう映画をJudgeできる眼を失ってしまったかと自信がなくなってしまう一瞬があった位ブレている所があった。
池内博之、塩見三省はお見事だった。萩原聖人、井川遥は自分がこの映画の中で何ができるのか、何をどう表現すべきだったのかを考え直した方がいいと思う。それこそ、「樹」でなく、「森」を見てから。
本当のテーマってナンなんだろう、この映画。スチールギターに負けたかな？

勢いで。George ClooneyのBATMANは嫌いじゃないけど敵役とか味方とかゴチャゴチャしすぎてウザイ！役も観ていて気の毒になる位、つまらない....こんなもんだろうね。Joel SchumacherがBATMANをダメにしている気がする。話じゃないと思うんだけど。メカ的にはいい感じなんだけどなぁ。またBEGINS観ないと。あの大人な作りのBATMANが一番いいかもね。

Massive AttackのSound Trackはかっこ良かった。アクションシーンとかはすごいなぁ、と思う。Trckyな映像も「え！」って」いう絵が多くて感心した。予告が良かったのよね。しかし！ こんな映画は駄目です。話の脈絡が駄目駄目。最後はどうして......!

勝てた試合でしたね。誰がいないから云々は抜きにして。
前半、日本は萎縮してました。緊張してたのかな。パスも伸びないし足も伸びない。ディフェンスも思い切って前に出てない。惜しいポイントはいくつかあるんだけど、それ以上にBrasilの余裕っぷりが憎らしいねぇ。ハーフ越えるとジッとBrasilの選手を見てしまうデスよ。Brasilの2点目は気を抜かなければ防げたはずよ。俊輔のシュートは鳥肌。それまで全く表に出てこなかったのに、やるじゃん。そうそう、そういう余裕と判断のスピードが大事ですよ。後半15分過ぎの膠着状態、均衡状態と言ってもいいけど、あそこで日本ペースでダイレクトなサッカーをしたかったなぁ。俊輔、見せるね。惜しかった！中田は今ひとつFitしてなかった印象です。福西との連携も今ひとつ。ベンゲルも言ってましたけどもっと前目でいいのかな。でも、この試合はFWの後ろでためるスペースも時間も無かったから、あれでいいのかな。うーん。
いずれにしても、伸び伸びやりましょうよ。失うものなんて、無いの。Brasilなんて楽しんでるじゃないの。楽しもうよ、BOYS!

俊介がFIFAのMan of the Matchでした。Yeah!
よく観たらギリシャ戦もそうだった。すげー。移籍かな。

各所でレポートがあがっていますが、やはり便利ですね、これ。POBoxDAが便利なケースもありそうですが、やはりTreo 650の5WAYナビでサクサク文章が書けるのは何より便利です。Treo 650の重量が軽くなった印象さえ受けました。（iPodを初めて使った時の印象に似ていると思います） すばらしいアプリをありがとうございます。

今更ですが、一応POST 。
ギリシア戦を先に観たせいか、初めはメキシコのスピードとうまさに面食らいましたね。うまいし速いし視野が広い。さすが。日本の1点目は良かった。実は小笠原に出した宮本のパスが良かった。クリアーかな、と思いきや流れて来た小笠原をよく見ていた。もちろん、小笠原のパスの精度もカジのスピードも良かった。相手のスピードにあおられて本来のスピードが出たという事でしょうか。こういうシンプルなパスサッカーは好感が持てるし、リズムを作りやすいので日本に向いてますよ。前半30分を過ぎてからはメキシコ支配になってしまったんですが、疲れでしょうか。また中盤が空いてしまった。
しかし、メキシコの1点目は見事ですなぁ。

COULDさんの所で教えてもらいました。今日は時間が少しあるので聴いてみます。この間、San Franciscoでガイ・カワサキの話を聴いて懐かしい様な、うれしい様な気分になって、ずいぶん考えさせられたので、これも楽しみだな。

I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. I never graduated from college. Truth be told, this is the closest I've ever gotten to a college graduation. Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That's it. No big deal. Just three stories.
The first story is about connecting the dots.
I dropped out of Reed College after the first 6 months, but then stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before I really quit. So why did I drop out?
It started before I was born. My biological mother was a young, unwed college graduate student, and she decided to put me up for adoption. She felt very strongly that I should be adopted by college graduates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife. Except that when I popped out they decided at the last minute that they really wanted a girl. So my parents, who were on a waiting list, got a call in the middle of the night asking: "We have an unexpected baby boy; do you want him?" They said: "Of course." My biological mother later found out that my mother had never graduated from college and that my father had never graduated from high school. She refused to sign the final adoption papers. She only relented a few months later when my parents promised that I would someday go to college.
And 17 years later I did go to college. But I naively chose a college that was almost as expensive as Stanford, and all of my working-class parents' savings were being spent on my college tuition. After six months, I couldn't see the value in it. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and no idea how college was going to help me figure it out. And here I was spending all of the money my parents had saved their entire life. So I decided to drop out and trust that it would all work out OK. It was pretty scary at the time, but looking back it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The minute I dropped out I could stop taking the required classes that didn't interest me, and begin dropping in on the ones that looked interesting.
It wasn't all romantic. I didn't have a dorm room, so I slept on the floor in friends' rooms, I returned coke bottles for the 5¢ deposits to buy food with, and I would walk the 7 miles across town every Sunday night to get one good meal a week at the Hare Krishna temple. I loved it. And much of what I stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on. Let me give you one example:
Reed College at that time offered perhaps the best calligraphy instruction in the country. Throughout the campus every poster, every label on every drawer, was beautifully hand calligraphed. Because I had dropped out and didn't have to take the normal classes, I decided to take a calligraphy class to learn how to do this. I learned about serif and san serif typefaces, about varying the amount of space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography great. It was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science can't capture, and I found it fascinating.
None of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life. But ten years later, when we were designing the first Macintosh computer, it all came back to me. And we designed it all into the Mac. It was the first computer with beautiful typography. If I had never dropped in on that single course in college, the Mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts. And since Windows just copied the Mac, its likely that no personal computer would have them. If I had never dropped out, I would have never dropped in on this calligraphy class, and personal computers might not have the wonderful typography that they do. Of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when I was in college. But it was very, very clear looking backwards ten years later.
Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.
My second story is about love and loss.
I was lucky Ð I found what I loved to do early in life. Woz and I started Apple in my parents garage when I was 20. We worked hard, and in 10 years Apple had grown from just the two of us in a garage into a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees. We had just released our finest creation - the Macintosh - a year earlier, and I had just turned 30. And then I got fired. How can you get fired from a company you started? Well, as Apple grew we hired someone who I thought was very talented to run the company with me, and for the first year or so things went well. But then our visions of the future began to diverge and eventually we had a falling out. When we did, our Board of Directors sided with him. So at 30 I was out. And very publicly out. What had been the focus of my entire adult life was gone, and it was devastating.
I really didn't know what to do for a few months. I felt that I had let the previous generation of entrepreneurs down - that I had dropped the baton as it was being passed to me. I met with David Packard and Bob Noyce and tried to apologize for screwing up so badly. I was a very public failure, and I even thought about running away from the valley. But something slowly began to dawn on me Ð I still loved what I did. The turn of events at Apple had not changed that one bit. I had been rejected, but I was still in love. And so I decided to start over.
I didn't see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.
During the next five years, I started a company named NeXT, another company named Pixar, and fell in love with an amazing woman who would become my wife. Pixar went on to create the worlds first computer animated feature film, Toy Story, and is now the most successful animation studio in the world. In a remarkable turn of events, Apple bought NeXT, I retuned to Apple, and the technology we developed at NeXT is at the heart of Apple's current renaissance. And Laurene and I have a wonderful family together.
I'm pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn't been fired from Apple. It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don't lose faith. I'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle.
My third story is about death.
When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: "If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right." It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.
Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything Ð all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.
About a year ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I had a scan at 7:30 in the morning, and it clearly showed a tumor on my pancreas. I didn't even know what a pancreas was. The doctors told me this was almost certainly a type of cancer that is incurable, and that I should expect to live no longer than three to six months. My doctor advised me to go home and get my affairs in order, which is doctor's code for prepare to die. It means to try to tell your kids everything you thought you'd have the next 10 years to tell them in just a few months. It means to make sure everything is buttoned up so that it will be as easy as possible for your family. It means to say your goodbyes.
I lived with that diagnosis all day. Later that evening I had a biopsy, where they stuck an endoscope down my throat, through my stomach and into my intestines, put a needle into my pancreas and got a few cells from the tumor. I was sedated, but my wife, who was there, told me that when they viewed the cells under a microscope the doctors started crying because it turned out to be a very rare form of pancreatic cancer that is curable with surgery. I had the surgery and I'm fine now.
This was the closest I've been to facing death, and I hope its the closest I get for a few more decades. Having lived through it, I can now say this to you with a bit more certainty than when death was a useful but purely intellectual concept:
No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
When I was young, there was an amazing publication called The Whole Earth Catalog, which was one of the bibles of my generation. It was created by a fellow named Stewart Brand not far from here in Menlo Park, and he brought it to life with his poetic touch. This was in the late 1960's, before personal computers and desktop publishing, so it was all made with typewriters, scissors, and polaroid cameras. It was sort of like Google in paperback form, 35 years before Google came along: it was idealistic, and overflowing with neat tools and great notions.
Stewart and his team put out several issues of The Whole Earth Catalog, and then when it had run its course, they put out a final issue. It was the mid-1970s, and I was your age. On the back cover of their final issue was a photograph of an early morning country road, the kind you might find yourself hitchhiking on if you were so adventurous. Beneath it were the words: "Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish." It was their farewell message as they signed off. Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish. And I have always wished that for myself. And now, as you graduate to begin anew, I wish that for you.

Treo 650 TealLock
Palmを使い始めた頃からずーっと使っていますね。これ。PDAはHandyで便利ですがなんと言っても紛失が怖い。頼れば頼るほど、データ漏洩が怖い訳です。これはデータを暗号化してくれるし、Power ON時のPassword Guardも秀逸です。（その分、忘れると取り返しがつかない訳で）。Power ON即、閲覧、という別けには行きませんが、Trade offで得られる安心感は何物にも代え難いんです。Lock中に電話が懸かって来た時も出られるます（はず.....次回、通話圏内に行ったら試します） これもおすすめです。

これは観ていて楽しいサッカー。ギリシャの迫力が無いと言うか前も中も後ろもプレッシャーが無くて自由なサッカーができますなぁ。ここまで自由に中盤を使えてダイレクトなサッカーの日本代表は久しぶりでは？速攻の時も何枚もカードがあるので楽でしょう。小笠原が良かった。ポジションがいいのかな。プレッシャーが無いせいかしらね。でも、観てて楽しいサッカーはいいですよ。ヤナ、良くなった。でも、点、取ってね。

ドキュメンタリーなんだけど、子供と親が真剣なので結構飽きずに観れる。ビデオで家族で観るにはいいと思いますよ。映像作品として劇場で、というのはマニア向けかもな。アメリカという国が良く見えた気がする。子供は平均して「いい子」に写っているけど親が様々。インド出身の親はMotivationを高くしてinspireするけど、どこかあざとさが残る。メキシコ出身の親は寡黙。そういう部分をクローズアップしている訳ではないんだけどね、目が行くのよ。ま、記憶力の高い子供が社会で成功する訳ではないけれど、アメリカの伝統としてどうぞ続けてください、って感じ。子供が楽しんでできているウチは宜しいのではないかと。邦題は「チャレンジキッズ」。しかし、ひどいタイトルだ。

BATMAN BEGINS
面白かった！あっという間に2時間がすぎた。CGもすごいね。ちょっと合わせがバレテイル部分もあったけど、大丈夫。敢えて言えば、冒頭の部分が話と展開に無理があったかな。主役のChristian Baleが弱いかな、と思ったけど全然問題なし。かっこいいわ。Michael Caine、Morgan Freeman、うまく効いてる。Katie Holmes、まじまじと観たけど、不思議。ま、人の奥さんだからどうでもいいんだけど、色々な表情を持ってて神秘的。口はDrew Barrymoreだ。Gary Oldman、久しぶり！こういう演技も良いけど、切れた演技が観たい。Ken Watanabe、及第点です。がんばってる。もっと海外の作品で彼を観たいねぇ。
あー、面白かった。また観よう。速攻でShibuya TSUTAYAに足を運んで以前のBATMANシリーズを借りたです。へへ。

良いっ！ とってもチャーミングな映画。Adam SandlerとDrew Barrymoreだもんね。安心して観る事ができるです。この映画も両方のいい味が出てる。Drew Barrymoreは美人じゃないけど、魅力あるのよね。また Wedding Singerとか観たいな。

「W.Walkman モバイル」の待受け Flash、いい感じかも。しばらくこれにしてみようかと。時間帯、電波状況、バッテリー残量によって動きが変化するそうで、気持ちがいいです。ちなみに今は黄色です。

Treo 650 BackupMan
これも手放せません。特に不安定なTreoでは。タイマー設定していると勝手にバックアップしてくれるのでかなり重宝してます。何度この自動バックアップに助けられたか.....前のバージョンでは、バックアップ毎にかなりCacheを圧迫していましたが、最新バージョンになって多少改善しました。お勧めです。

テンポが速くて面白かったけど、英語を読むのに疲れた...日本では公開されてないと思う。しかし、このストーリー展開はどこかで見た事があるぞ。昔、ジョントラボルタが出てる映画で似た様なドンデンガエシの話があった様な気kがするなぁ。

W800あり、W600ありですね。AACもサポートしてるので意外と欲しいんですよね。日本でも出ないかな。Bluetoothも行けるし。Triple Band 900/1800/1900 MHzだし。auのねW31SはATRAC3plus/WAV/MP3/WMしか聴けないんですよね。惜しいなぁ。

これ、気になりますねー。TVが壊れる寸前なので....

蒼井優がいいんですよ。伸びやかで曇りの無い表情や手足をギューンと伸ばしてて、観ててとても気持ちがいい。花とアリスで時折見せたキラメキがうまく醸成されてきている感じ。話もね、似たような話はあるけれど、いいでしょう。スーッと観れた。はじめの10分で結構引き込まれた。
竹富、また行きたくなった。長期滞在したいのよね、八重山に。
カメラとか、エンディングのまとめ方とか気になる点は多いけど、いいでしょう。お勧め。もうすぐ終わっちゃうし、劇場も遠いけど行く価値は十二分にありますよ。

帰郷
片岡礼子、おかえりー！ 好きな女優の一人。西島秀樹は今まで苦手だったけど、初めて頼もしく思えた。ソボクだけど伝えたかっただろうものは伝わった。かなり好きな映画。終わり方も良い。人は歳をとっても自分を活かせるSlotが空いている人は幸せなんだと実感した。

Ladies in Lavender
これもユニークだねぇ。いい意味で。ちょっと現実的には想像しがたい話だけど、ま、ありかも。好きな雰囲気を持つ映画。要はおとぎ話。Judi Denchはかわいいねぇ。あー、こうやって終わるんだー、とエンドロールを眺めながら考え込んでしまった。多くを観客に与えすぎない作品は良いよね。あぁいう暮らしは羨ましいなぁ。静かな生活。邦題は「ラヴェンダーの咲く庭で」 このポスターのセンスはちょっと.....

ユニークな作り。IMDBでの評価もまぁまぁ。Sean Pennは流石の演技。しかし、しかしだ、描きたかったのは自己破壊の道を突き進む負け犬の話なのか？ナイーブなテロリストなのか？ ナイーブなテロリストを描いてどうしたい？ これはフィクションでしょう。ベースになったノンフィクションの方がいいかも。実際、Sean PennもNaomi Wattsも21gの演技の方が良かった。遥かに。IMDBのREVIEWを見ていたらあまりにもアホなコメントが多くて腹が立った。映画の「志」自体は消して低くないだけに。

Treo 650 "Stylus Pen 3-Pack for Treo 650"
PalmOne純正アクセサリーのStylusです。写真の上が標準で下が別売りアクセサリ。上の部分が黒いのと、ボールペンが付いているのが違いますね。先の方の色が変わっている所から先をクルクル回して外すとボールペンがでます。ペンとぴあと同じですよ、要は。ボールペンの書き味は「こんなもん」ですな。
あと、Treo 650に差し込んだ状態の座りが微妙に悪い。純正よりも納まりが悪い気がします。黒だから目立つしね。全体的な感想は「まぁまぁ」かな。写真もこんなもん.....かな。

ヘッドフォン 12機種聞き比べ
夏は密閉型では暑いのでイヤーインナー型物色中。今の所は昔買ったSONYのEX71を使用中。EX71の音、というか SONYの音は嫌いなんだけど、この手の小さいHeadphoneは扱いがジャケンになるので、ま、これでいっか、と。SHUREもいいんだろうけどね、なんかもったいない。QUALIA MDR-EXQ1もかなり気になったけどな、ちょっとなぁ。やっぱしE2cかな。

この間、改築したNYCのMOMAですが、今回のデザインは日本人でした。YOSHIO TANIGUCHI です。
MOMAを見た感じではsimple & Cleanな印象だなーとしか感じなかったんですが、今、Tokyo Opera Cityで国際巡回展やってて、その作品集を観てぶっ飛びました。実はこの人、凄いのね。超好みな建築。広島市環境局中工場なんて、開いた口がフサガラナイ..... いいなぁ。観て歩こう。不勉強だったよ。いやはや。

Treo 650/ Prepaid card
そんな訳で、Treo 650のPrepaid Card。あっさりOn-lineで購入できました。それもPIN NumberをE-Mailで送ってもらって即Refill。だってね、欲しいのはPIN Numberだけなので。ちょっと怪しい店構えのお店ですが amazon.comにもお店を持っているし、対応も迅速でした。これで9月上旬までは大丈夫だが、年間でMINIMUM 12000円かかる訳だ。月1000円と言えば、ま、問題ないか。
↑これが、Cingular Prepaid accountの自分のAccountの管理画面っす。さすが、使いやすい。FYI

これもTreo 650で便利に使っています。Treo 650になって、Stylusストロークの機会が減ったのでApplication Listをサクッと出すのに苦労していました。gsten T3まではTealmenuを使ってたんですがどうもうまく動かないし、Keyのアサインも煩雑になってきたので。
メニューキーを2回押すとコマンドバーが出るようになってまして、そこにShortcutが出てきます。で、直近で使ったApplication Listも出るし、日付、時間も出るようにしました。便利です。Shortcut5の開発者さんですが、いい仕事しますよ。感謝してます。

Wim Wendersの名作。最も好きな映画の一つ。NYCで探して探して見つからなかったので、あきらめてamazon.comで購入。日本ではとっくに廃盤。NYCのVirginで聞いたら、「なんだそりゃ？映画か？」と聞かれた。勉強しろ、オマエ！
もう20年以上前の作品だけど、なんて伝わるバイブレーションが静かで、豊かで、力強い作品でしょう。Ry CooderのBGMも素敵にマッチして、情感を盛り上げるんですよ。ホント、言葉では伝えきれないんです、この映画の味。死ぬまで見続けたい。台詞は多くないし、動きも少ない映画だけど、多くの感情が伝わって来て、胸が苦しくなる。
Nastassja Kinskiは美しい。ゴシップ先攻でもうTVにしか出ていないみたいだけど、本当に輝いていたなぁ。Harry Dan Stantonも良かった。Hunter役のHunter Carsonはあんまり映画に出ていないですなぁ。美しかったのにもったいない感じ。ほら、もう観たくなったさ！ ちなみに84年のカンヌ パルムドールです。

便利ですね。初めてPalmのスクリーンショットTOOLを使いました。10-0-0.netさんのPOSTを参考にさせていただきました。LINKE SOFTのScreenShotの方が保存形式を選べるので便利ですが、ワタシはそれほど多くのスクリーンショットを取る予定もないので、Snapで十分かと。

Palmはどこに行くのか
まぁね、Smart Phone化を進めるのが正解だとは思いますが巨人とどう戦うのかが肝要でしょうか。あまり悲観的に見る必要もないでしょう。もともとMajorityを取れる製品というかOSではないしね。Life Driveみたいな方向性もアリでしょうが、個人的にはSmart PhoneやFossil Palm PDAあたりを熟成して欲しいですね。CobaltはAppleのCoplelandみたいなもので、ちょっと会社のPR戦略、失敗しちゃった;-) って感じでしょ。リカバーすればいいじゃん。No Worries.

たまにはtreo 650経由U*Blogからエントリー。私は水道水がダメなので昔から宅配の水を利用してます。ペットボトルは重いし捨てるのがめんどうだし。色々調べた結果、ここのが一番便利そうだった。もう10年以上ここの水を飲んでるなぁ。考えてみれば。オトクイサマじゃん。

久しぶりのAR155ネタですが、入院報告です。先週の木曜にJasmine Thaiでおいしい食事の後、シアワセな気分で駐車場へ。サクッと帰ろうと思いきや、ギヤが渋い。最近、クラッチペダルの戻りが中途半端なのでイヤーな感じはしてたんだけど、ダマシダマシ運転してた。六本木ヒルズのセンターループに入ろうとしたら、アレ？？ ギヤが抜けない。アレ？ とアセアセとクラッチを踏んだりギヤを動かそうとしてみても、ウントモスントモ言わない。困った。冷や汗。ヤバい。坂の途中でスタック。
1速で車寄せに車を移動してJAF。すったもんだの結果、車は放置して次の日の朝に牽引トラックを呼ぶ事にした。車高が低すぎて、レッカーでは運べないそうな。（路駐してもレッカー移動されないって事？） で、今はアレーゼ杉並の工場へ入院中。シールドがNGだそうで。ま、こういうのも楽しいんだけどね。夜中の2:00にJAFを待つのは勘弁していただきたいものです。はい。

そういえば忘れてた。POBox for Palm OS5を1.7.2aにするんだった。張り切って1.7.2hを使ってたけど戻しました。そろそろPOBoxにも慣れてきました。確かに慣れると使いやすいですね。J-OS IMEよりも速く入力できるので快適です。はい。

昨日は疲れがたまっていたのとお腹がいっぱいだったせいで、20分で落ちました（泣） 今日の朝、TVで映像を見まくってしまったですよ。久しぶりに動きのあるA代表を観ました。中盤のプレスも速く、キリンカップの様なドローンとした中盤のスペースが消えていたので安心して観れましたね。中田はさすがです。非常に試合が締まる。monk himselfさんも書かれていますが、脱帽です。いつも書かれている事ですが視野が広いし、守備でも要になってました。
サントスはもういいんじゃないですかねぇ。マジで。ミスも多かったし、抜けないし。

Treo 650 順調
Treo 650ですが、最近はDB Cacheが圧迫される度にSoft Resetをかける以外は順調で安定してます。もともと、スケジュール、To-do、MEMO、DB管理がメインですので、新しいApplicationを試す以外はそんなに変な使い方はしないんですよね。Firmware Updateも流出していますし、成功している方も多い様ですがちょっと様子見てます。何回もHard ResetするのはRecoveryが面倒なんで。そんな感じです。最近のMy Treo 650は。
